SUPPORT OUR MISSION

Here at The Midwives, we value accessibility and fair compensation for work. It costs us approximately $200 per month, per artist to provide The Midwives Circle to our members. 

But we strongly believe money shouldn’t be a barrier to access. We offer The Circle on a sliding scale with the hope that our members with more resources can chip in to keep The Midwives accessible to artists who do not come from generational wealth or whose financial support has been affected during the pandemic.

Please consider donating. Your donation helps us keep our sliding scale low, helps us pay our teachers and administrators a fair wage, and helps us nurture the public creative spirit.

As a 501(c)(3) public charity, every contribution made to The Midwives is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Stock Donations

Consider a gift of stock to The Midwives

Using appreciated stock or mutual funds is a tax-wise way to fund your gift to The Midwives. Gifts of appreciated securities held longer than one year are exempt from capital gains taxes and for outright gifts entitle the donor to a tax deduction equal to the fair market value of the securities at the time of transfer.
