BIO

Mike Brunlieb is a performing artist in Chicago. He performs with a number of improv ensembles, including a group called Sand that he has worked with for a long time. Mike also teaches and directs for plays, improvisation, and sketch shows. He studied improvisation at iO Chicago and at the Paul Sills Game Center with Aretha Sills. Mike also works in film / TV and has recently appeared in TV shows Shrink, Patriot, and a pilot for Comedy Central called Southside Stories. Art-wise, Mike is interested in demons, goblins, and people getting just exactly what they want. He admires the work of Viola Spolin and her non-hierarchical non-authoritarian way of doing things.
